MULCH MULE / MINI MULE / NEXT GENERATION MULE

Hoppel Fabrication specializes in the fabrication and design of creating labor reducing equipment.  As a leader in the design of prototypes, we began the journey of creating a piece of equipment for the landscape industry that would increase productivity by reducing manpower. This initial project launched the Mulch Mule which through continuous design of ongoing prototypes gave way to several models, options and accessories.  We pride ourselves not only as the manufacturer but also the designer of this entire product line.

The Mulch Mule was created in 1998, in an effort to increase mulching productivity as well as cut labor costs.  It caught on quickly and proved itself by offering the results on which it was founded and became known as the "Labor Eliminator", it produced 3 times more work in one-third the time.  This model has a 15 cubic yard capacity and is available with a variety of options and accessories in various mountings; standard trailer, conventional truck, cab over truck, roll-off, and skid mount.

The Mini Mule designed in 2006 offers a smaller capacity in 10 cubic yards that can be towed with a 3/4 ton pickup.  We listened to our customers and felt the need to design a piece of equipment that would provide greater maneuverability in tighter residential areas.  It comes with the same options and accessories as the Mulch Mule so it can be "Built to Fit" your needs.

In 2007 we developed the next generation Mulch Mule and redesigned it to address an ever changing market.  Offering greater visibility, lightening the overall weight in an effort to carry more load, while still providing rugged dependable construction.  Low maintenance direct drive hydraulic motors eliminated drive chains and sprockets for fewer moving parts.  Floor speed was increased saving further time and a new "Rolling Floor" was introduced, giving the Mulch Mule the versatility to handle solid material including rock, gravel, stone, sand, salt and much more.
